- Terry at Booklights gives us all a much-needed tutorial on Reading with a Moving Audience. She goes through different ages, from infants to pre-teens. Tres valuable, Terry, thanks!
- A study from Nevada finds that kids who grow up with books in the home tend to stay in school up to three years longer than those without. Wow. Next they'll discover that water is wet. Snark aside, it's good to have this quantified. Library books count as books in the home, too, by the way. Thanks to Tasha of the always marvy Kids Lit blog for the heads-up.
- Remember the Berenstein Bears? Prove it with The Berenstein Bears and the mental_floss Quiz. Thanks to 100 Scope Notes for the link.
